Upper School Ipads- Student Guidelines
PLEASE respect the technology that you are being allowed to use.
When you are finished using the iPad:
The iPads were purchased with Book Fair and Grant funds for use in Media Lab classes. These devices are to remain in the Upper School Library, unless directed by Administration, Jacqueline Bello, Lizzi Canady, or Mary Elizabeth Carruth.
Lower School iPad Guidelines are the same.
The rules are the same as above, however, they are kept in tubs and not a cart and there are no numbered slots. Please return iPads to the green tubs, putting only one iPad in each slot. This means there will be 6 in each tub.

Upper School Ipads- Student Guidelines
PLEASE respect the technology that you are being allowed to use.
- Wash your hands before using the iPad.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the Media Centers, especially while using the iPads. Keep your water bottles off the tables and put away.
- Use two hands when holding the iPad.
- Avoid slamming the iPad down on the table. Use the stand or keep it flat on the table.
- Remain seated while using the iPad.
- Only use the app or website your teacher asked you to use. Recreational surfing/gaming is NEVER allowed.
- Do not touch other students’ iPads. Only one “driver” at a time.
- Do not photograph or video any time, unless your teacher directs you to as part of an assignment. Do not photograph or video anyone without permission.
- You may not change any of the settings on the iPads.
When you are finished using the iPad:
- iPads are to be returned to the cart, and never left out.
- Be sure to log off your AR, Google, iXL, or any account you used.
- Close out all apps and web pages. Double tap and swipe up to close out all apps. To close out all web pages in Safari, tap the double square in the corner and then tap every tiny X.
- Put the iPad to sleep and then slide it in the corresponding slot in the cart. Match the number on the iPad with the corresponding slot number. Plug in any iPad that is at 30% or less.
- Please close the cart doors, making sure not to close the wires in the doors.
- ALL IPADS MUST BE WIPED DOWN USING CLOROX WIPES AFTER USE, BEFORE PUTTING THEM AWAY.
